This is a knife hand crafted on Deer bone. The image on the side is Atabey, the supreme goddess of the Taino people. Also know as Atabeira, the water and fertility goddess. Its the most important pre-colombian female image among natives of the Antilles and Boriken. The engraving was done with traditional burning tools at Native Pueblo. The upper edge has a wrap of sinew. This piece is about 8 inces long and is Not Sharped, but it can be sharped as much as a real knife.
